I am no longer active in the Society; I dated a local court baron for a while and, when I left him, well ... suffice it to say that a restraining order was involved. Because the judge could not order him to stay away from SCAdian activities (although he was ordered to be 100 yards away from me at such, many activities are on smaller grounds than that), I found it easier to stop attending.
